AgriFarm

AgriFarm is a web project which is built with WordPress and the vision behind this project was to built a web platform for our local farmers in Bangladesh. It is a demo website for now, hosted in localhost which is functional and can be transferred into a domain server. Here on AgriFarm, farmers can sell their products, post a blog about their success or any kind of problems they are facing, they can watch video tutorials to have hands on knowledge in various agricultural tools and methods. They can subscribe to the website to receive important notices about new posts. Customers can look for the products they want to buy such as fruits, poultry products, vegetables, seeds etc. They can pay for the products securely by using the secured payment gateway. Buyers and sellers can create a profile, buyers can checkout their products and update the cart any time before doing payment. AgriFarm is basically an e-Commerce website dedicated to farmers and buyers from the whole country where they can sell, browse and buy their products and also this website will enable farmers to have new knowledge on farming and more. This website will show featured products and the products can be categorically filtered as well as with pricing filter. Buyers can leave a review about the product they bought. Admins can administer and control the backend of the website with WordPress’s dedicated Dashboard which is an area filled up with dedicated gadgets for administration of the website. They can update the status of the products, check and update the payment status, can post new blogs and videos.

Home Page

To establish our vision of this website, we decided to have feature products, blogs and video tutorials on home page. Our website will have master header, master footer on every page and there will be a banner of our website on the home page. For this, we created four sections using Elementor Page Builder. First we created a banner section for our website where we added multiple images which would be slided automatically. This banner section has a fixed text code used as a quotation. This section includes a search bar. The second section contains feature products which is built with the Product Grid Widget from the essential addons for elementor. The third section includes tutorial videos made with Video Widget from Elementor. The fourth section contains blog posts made with Post Carousel Widget from essential addons for elementor.

Shops Page

This page is created with WordPress themed widgets such as Products, Filter products by price, Filter products by category, search, Filter products by rating. This page contains products with name, price and ratings. Products uploaded by users and admin would be shown with the updated order of last uploaded product. Best selling products will be shown. Best selling products will also be shown in the left corner. Products can be browsed through filters of price and category.

Tutorials Page

Tutorial page contains video tutorials in one section which has many inner sections. It presents videos in grid on the page which is built with Video widget from Elementor. It is an extension of Tutorial Section from the home page.

Blogs Page

The blog page contains all the blogs with categories and they are made with Post Carousel widget from essential addons for elementor. The blogs can be accessed if they are on multiple pages with clicking next and previous page.

About Page

This page is made with image widget, icon list widget, text editor widget, image box widget. This page will inform clients about the owners of the website and the developer team.

Contact US Page

This page was built with WPForms. This page will help clients to get the contact information and will help them to contact directly with the website owners.

Account Page

Account page’s details section was created with the help of WooCommerce Plugin which contains Dashboard, Orders, Downloads, Addresses, Account Details, logout option. It also contains product upload and post upload option which are used as simple forms for users and it’s built with WP Frontend User. Users can edit their profile, see past information of the product orders.

To enable the users for logging in from anywhere on the website, we created a popup login form using Login/Signup Popup. They can register and also do login for the website from that form.

Cart Section is made with the help of a shortcode provided by WooCommerce which came with the theme Astra. This section helps users to update products, apply special coupons for products, cart details which includes details about the purchasing order. It gives user the chance to proceed to checkout which redirects them to Checkout Page.

Checkout page is made with WooCommerce plugin, WPForms, SSLCommerz Payment gateway, Bangladeshi Payment Gateway. This page will take their billing details. It will show them the product order details on the left side. If users click on Place Order button, it will take them to the payment gateway system which they chose first to pay for their orders. After the purchase is done with successful payment procedure, the page will show the user a payment receipt of the purchase.
